Contribution rules
By giving, you confirm that:
- You are a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (a green card holder).
- You are at least eighteen years old.
- The contribution is from your own funds, and no other person or entity is providing them for the purpose of making it.
- You are using your own personal card, not a corporate or business card, and not one issued to somebody else.
Contributions are not tax deductible. The most any one person may give is $5,900 per election. State law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, address, occupation and employer of anyone whose contributions exceed $100 in an election cycle.
